Cards Against Humanity
Cards Against Humanity - 'A Party Game for Horrible People'.
This particular game is Not recommended for youth work, as it contains crude phrases, and encourages inappropriate humour. It can be quite a popular game, and as such, it is important to be aware of the content of the game, should an occasion arise where such knowledge would be beneficial.
The game consists of a set of cards, the majority of which are white, with a number being black. Each player is dealt 10 white cards, except for the dealer. The dealer would draw a black card, on which would be written a phrase or question. Each player would then submit the relevant number of white cards in response to the black card, ensuring all submissions are anonymous by shuffling, and then topping up their hand of cards from the deck. The holder of the black card chooses the one they think is the best response, and awards the black card to that player as a point, in exchange for their hand of cards. The winner then chooses a new black card, and play continues until all players decide to end the game.
